Christmas Day:)

We has such a great christmas..jade decided to spoil the kids alot more than they usually do because he most likely won't be here for our next christmas. It was a fun filled day. We started a tradition last year that we would only let them open a gift every 30 min to an hour to make it last longer. It has worked out pretty well. Jades paretns came up that afternoon and we had some good food and played the WII we got super fun. Ky got aDS, drums,pellet gun games, boots and a bunch of other things. Addie got a tangled tower, games my size dress up dolls, barbies aand a bunch of other things. Its been soo long i can't remember everyhting they got. We got the Wii for the family and it has been a big hit.

Christmas eve we had my family over for the afternoon. We had alot of fun we played minute to win it games and other games and ate some yummy food. I always love having family come to my house on christmas it soo much fun. Enjoy the pictures.. more to come!!

Tree Hunting

The sat after thanksgiving we went with our good friends to find the perfect christmas tree.. the kids had a blast playing in the snow, while jade and i looked for the tree. The trees always look smaller on the mountain. It seems huge in our front room. It was a fun little family outing. We roasted hot dogs afterwards and chatted until we were all to cold.

Halloween is always fun.. i personally hate dressing up but its fun dressing up the kids. I love seeing them so happy and running from house to house in excitment. That morning I got them halloween dounghnuts for breakgast. They got to dress up for school. Ky went as a skeleton to school, but a cowboy skeleton that night. WE thought he looked super cool. Addie was Ariel and had to have red hair,i just sprayed it red. I hate the stuff I don't think i will ever do that again:} They had a parade and each class sang a song. I got to help in addie's class for her party.

That night i took the kidsa round with my friend and her boys whiloe the guys stayed home and handed out candy. It was a perfect night to be out trick or treating. Some dumb punk kids did jump out and scared the crap out of us dressed in gorilla costumes. I hate being scared..lol We had a fun halloween. the kids are already talking about next years:}

Getting family pictures is always a srtuggle i am sure it is for everyone..I just asked my neighbor to do them for us she isn't a profession but she did a pretty good job. i like how most of them turned out. And we just went in the field next to our house..yayy!! I know you always have to get a funny one especially with jade and addie they are always silly when it comes to pic.

We had fun and the kids even cleaned out there own pumkins this year(SWEET)!!

Back in Sept we went up to the state fair with jades family its always a fun day!! Here is some of the fun things we did while we were there.We love goingto the fair eating the yummy fair food and spending time together!! We also saw a few shows and of course the animals.

She really wanted to drive this and at first they weren't going to let her..but obviously she got her way..lol

WOW... Yes way behind on this post as well! I was really sad that my baby was starting school. But now that it has been over a month, I have ajusted and enjoy my mornings to myself!! She was so excited to fineally get to got to ky's school and ride the bus with him..oh the things they think are fun!! She is loving school and has already learned so much. Ky is in the 2nd grade he loves school. And loves it as well. He actually gets sad when he misses school. I love that they both love school. I hope it sticls with them.

I am so bad at blogging lately and I am not sure anyone even reads this anymore..but before school started. I took the kids to thanksgivimg point ,my mom was able to go with us. It was really fun. Well kind of the kids had a great time and thats all that matters right!!

Ky was baptized on Sept 3-- We had a great day. Jade was really nervous about doing it..But did a great job. I am sad glad he was able to do it. Ky was so excited. Its quite an accompilshment and we are so proud of him.He is such a great kid and I hope he always keeps his sweet spirit. And stays close to his Heavenly Father:} Thank You to all the friends and family that came and shared his special day with him.

WOW!! I can't believe ky is 8. I decided to let him have a friend birthday party. Since we live in such a small town he knows all the kids in his class so he invited them all 19..thanks goodness all of them didn't come but we still had a big bunch come. It was great though I was alittle stressed, but we made it through. We did a carnival theme. Face painting,cotton candy,snow cones and games. Lots and lots of sugar. The kids had a fun time and ky was so happy and had a great day!!

Ky is such a great kid. And I hope he stays that way forever. He is very creative, always cutting something out of paper building something or drawing. He will be something amazing someday I just know it. I hope he had the best birthday and knows how much we love him:)

We spent 4 fun days in las vegas with grandma deb.. We pretty much spent 4 days swimming. And getting our tan on. It was very hot so it was nice to get in the water and cool off. Addie wanted to get in the hot tub pretty much the whole time. I don't know how she could becuz it was so stinkin hot. There was a lazy river that we loved except for addie until the last day she decided she loved it. Hopefully next year she will remember how fun it was. We also went to the Bellagio hotel to the conservatory where they always have a cute display and then out to watch the water show wich is the kids favorite. The kids were dying to go to M&M world. I think they may have been disappointed. I was going to let them get a bag of there favorite kind/color of m&m but at $14.00 a lb i think not. They also wanted to go the the rainforest cafe to eat dinner one night. Thanks deb for the trip!! We had a great time:)

we went to the mormon miracle pagent.. it was really fun we had to go early to get front row seats so we just hung out in the shade a relaxed until it started!! Took ky with us early and addie came right as it started so i didn't get any pictures with her. The kids were really good during it and really liked it.

Ky played baseball and loved it he gets better every year!! If the other team mates would let him ever get the ball, he would like it more. He hits awesome. I hope he sticks with it:)

Sad summer is going to be over so soon only a month and school will start!! I always hope my kids have a memorable one:)

Summer hair do's for the girlies

I was asked to be guest blogger and do some cute, fun hairstyles. That is off the neck and will keep little girlies a little cooler the summer. I think they are all pretty easy and hope you can follow what i did. I put the pics on in backwards order so scroll down and read up. Thanks j&m eyecandy for asking me to do this. Miss addie likes her hair in a pony everyday. I hate just a plain old pony so I have been trying to spice the up a bit. I put 2 braids on each side and then add them to the big pony in the back. After you have one pony do as many braids in the pony as you wish. I just did 2.

finsih it off with a bow or head band from j&m's eye candy..check out their esty shoppe. they have super cute stuff:)

next you are going to kind of make it look like a flower. take
a strand of hair wrap it around and then bobbie pin it. keep taking a strand of hair untul you have made a flower. its cute if some of the hair stick sticking out all around. i think this is a cute do for the 4 th of july.

braid the end. split the back into 2 sections. and make 2 ponies.

section the hair like in the 1st style. your going to make a hole in the pony and stick the hair at the end through the hole. do this all the way across the hair.

finish it off with a cute flower from j&m's eye candy!!

add the pony from the top to the back.next you are going to take some hair and split in 2 and you are going to twist them together. and you will add hair each time you twist. Keep going to the back of the ear. make a pony tail or messy bun.

make apart at the top of the head and make a section for a pony tail(pic above),do that all across the head hooking each pony togehter. i usually do 4 across.

I am just a littel behind. But I wanted to put his on here. The last week of school ky's school always has a dance festival and field day. Ky really got into his dance this year. He did really good. I love going to watch all the dances. Then after the dance festival they have field day. Such a fun day i was able to stay and help with one of the games. I am always so glad that I can help out with the things the kids do. (can't figure out how to getmy pics rotate)

I am pretty sure i say this every year but it really makes me sad when my kids turn another year older. But thats just how it goes. Addie said she had a " great birthday".:) On mon her grammie took her to get nail paintedshe loved it so much. On her birthday we invited some close friends to the park and had pizza and just played. Easiest party ever. Andthen that night we met her grandma and grandpa cowley for dinner at applebee's. I think it was a fun day.

*she is super girly but not scared to get dirty* her favorite thing to wear right now is pants or sweat pants, its june addie not janruary.

* she loves her brother, they actually get along pretty good.

The kids got to color eggs, go on 2 easter egg hunts, and play in the water and the sand at sand hallow. We had a great time!! The kids already want to go back.

Easter Weekend

We went to st.george for easter we had a great time the weather was perfect, I didn't want to leave the sunny weather. We did some fun things on friday we went to a place called creative minds there is a bunch of fun things for kids to do. They could have stayed there all day.( see pic at the end of the post) After there jades cousin took us to main street where there is a fun water park. There ended up being a art fair so there was a ton of people. But that didn't stop the kids from having fun. Grandma deb bought them boats to float down the river, along with the 100 other kids that were there. We made the best of it. I was just happy to be outside in the sun..lol!! And of course hit the pool, addie is my little water girl she could swim everday all day long.They liked these water beds and played on them the most while in the pool. I will post more later about our trip until then enjoy the pictures:)

Ky the Science guy

A few weeks ago ky had to do a science experiment for school. He was very excited lucky for him he has a great dad to help him with stuff like that. I don't know what I will do when he is gone. For his experiment our question was does water and oil mix? They tried different oils and used food coloring as well to make it look like a lava lamp.

I know everyone has ups and downs in their lives and we never know why things happen. I have had a few ups and downs in the past while.And have been down in the dumps I have went from happy,to sad,to just plain mad. But this week I decided that I need to move past it and learn from it. I will never understand why these types of things happen, but I have tried to move past it and make the best out of the situation. So when things are not the way you have planned or turn out. Just say to your self "it's what I make of it"!!

It doesn't matter what holiday it is my kids always like to celebrate or think they need a present. Of some sort,I made them green shamrock pancakes for breakfast. Ky had made a trap to try and catch a leprachaun so i went and found some candy that was wrapped in gold and found some cute green water bottles and put there names on it. It was not much but they were very happy that the leprachaun left them something.

I have had great intensions to blog a few times this month, but for some reason my computer won't recognize my camera. And I hate post without pics but oh well. This month addie learned to ride her bike without training wheels.It only took her a few trys and had it down quick. Wow she is getting to big. I have mixed feeling about it. Both my kids are getting way to big. Ky has lost 2 teeth in the past few weeks and has another that will be out as soon as he will be brave enuf to let us get it out. He is also doing great in school reading so well and is always excited to show us what he has improved on we are very proud of him. Addie had to start a new pre-school this month and absolutley loves it. It is really exspensive so I hope it pays off in the end. We took the kids ice skating over the weekend. Ky struggeled at first by the end of the nigth he wasn't falling every second, addie was able to use a walker that they had for younger kids and she loved it. She was a little to brave at times but was super funny to watch.It was a fun family night out. In a few weeks I am going to be a new aunt I am pretty excited. Thats about all the news I have for now. I will post pics soon when I can figure out the problem..Have a great week!!

Santa Came

Wow I can't believe it has already come and gone. We had a great christmas. The kids made a haul this year oh wait I think they do every year. Ky was so excited he got up at 1:45. I told him I didn't think santa had come yet. So he went back to bed.We we got up around 7:00. We tried something new this year and had the kids play with what santa gave them. And then waited awhile to open the other gifts. It actually turned out better than planned. And we think we will have that be a tradition of ours. By the time they opened all their gifts it was around 3 in the afternoon. I liked that it wasn't all over within an hour.We would let them open a few at a time. And then wait an hour our so to open some more. Any --who we had a great day. We went and took breakfast to some friends and ate with them. And came home and hung out then jade's parents came up for a little while. It was nice to have some company for the day. I hope you all had a very merry christmas:)

Last thursday I got to go and help with ky's school party. They were all a bit excited. And especially when the big jolly guy came by they were bouncing off the walls. They made a craft,played games, and had a snack. It was really fun. I am always happy to go help in ky's class. On friday was the christmas sing k-3 sang some songs and told the story of the night before christmas. It was really cute. And ky sang his heart out.

A few weeks ago I got to go and watch addie at dance. At first she was shy of all the people that were there. SO she sat against the wall for about 20 min. After 20 min of me bribing her she fineally got up and danced with the other girls. And then she was a total show off. I guess it just takes her awhile to warm up. I love this time of year. I love to take down my everyday decorations and put up christmas. I love to see my kids so happy and excited for the season. I love to get together with family and friends. I love giving. I love christmas music I pretty much start listneing to it as soon as they put it on the radio. I do however get a little stressed about did i spend enough on each kid. Is everyone going to be happy with what they get. I stress that my IN-LAWS never tell me what they want so they get something dumb. I stress that I won't get everything done in time. Even though it will come wether I am ready or not. I really am very excited to see my kids light up on christmas morning. I hope you all Have A very Happy Holiday Season!!

Thanksgiving 2010

We got to have to amazing thanksgiving dinners this year. The sunday before we went to my parents. It was really fun, even though both kids ended up with fevers so that wasn't to fun. On monday we went to midway and spent 4 days with jades parents. Grandmas always had fun things for the kids to do and even the mom's. They mad gingerbread houses, painted, made chritmas things and I got to learn to make yummy carmel and toffee. It was a really fun few days.Thanks everyone for the fun times. We are very thankful for such awesome families!!

Add's 1st trip to the dentist

A couple of weeks ago addie went to the dentist for the first time. Yeah i am a bad mom haven't had her to the dentist yet. But she was such a trooper and did and awesome job. She had a few sugar bugs. Will see how well she does when she has to get those fixed. I am crossing my fingers.

Halloweeeeen!!!

Just like every year my kids especially Ky change there minds at leat 10 times about what they want to be for halloween. They were going to be Mickey and Minnie since they both got ears when we went to disneyland this year, but that was short lived when they saw these costumes at wal mart one day. This was at the beginning of Sept. mind you. So we got them because there wasn't very many. ANy way Ky got home and had to try it on and the costume hit him at his ankels, i took it back hoping to get i bigger one and no such luck .So we did the best we could with what we had. jeans over it and it looked like he had 2 belts but oh well it worked right. On friday ky had a halloween parade at school and they each grade sang some songs it was cute and addie had to dress up to. On halloween Sat I got the kids pumpkin donughts for breakfast. And then later that night before trick or treating we had pizza. I try to make any holiday different than any ordinary day. We went out in the rain trick or treating with our friends it was fun and loved that my kids said thank you to everyone and addie would say HAPPY HALLOWEEN as well so cute. They got enough candy to last them prob tell christmas. At least I don't have to by them canfy for a while. We had a great halloween and don't worry ky is already plannin g for next year.

Fall Fun

A few weeks a go addie and I went to SSHS homecoming football,mainly to watch my sister dance in the drill team. Addie couldn't wait to go and get her face painted. After she got her face painted she did not want to stay at the game she just wanted to leave so thankfully grandpa kelly didn't want to stay either, so he took her home and my mom and I got to stay and watch the team get killed. But it was fun. Its so weird to go back there they look so young it dosen't seem like i was there to long ago. Anyway the drill team is awesome and i loved watching them dance.

Last week was Fall break and Iwanted to so something fun with the kids so me and my friend brooke got together nad headed to gardner village. Little did we know it was a hot spot and it was very crowded. We had lunch there and walked around the shops. Addie got spider eyes and I could not talk ky into it. Anyway it was a fun day. I would like to go back sometime when its not so crowded.

My kids are like most siblings fight and drive each other crazy!! But they really do luv each other. Ky is for sure a great big brother always looking out for his little sis. And addie luvs him she misses him when he is at school and is excited when he gets home. I was looking at pics i took last fall and can't believe how much they have grown in a years time. I wish they would stop, but i know that won't happen. So I will just cherish each year and everyday and take as many pics as possible. They are little only once right?

Last sunday we went up the canyon to take some family pics for our friends. I really wanted to take some of our family agian, even though we just got them done. Jade said no so i just took a few of the kids wish i would have had them dressed cuter but they turned out ok. For spur of the moment. It was so pretty with all the leaves changing i am pretty sure I will be making another trip up there before fall is over.

We went to old town one day and the mormon battlaion is close by. It was funfilled day. There was just old building and shops an old school, an old wells fargo bank, a candy shop with tons of old fashioned candy. At the mormon battalion we watched a movie and then you went on a journey with them it was really neat. The kids got to dig for gold. And they thought that was awesome. We also went to the board walk of one of the beaches and had dinner right in front of the beach and got to see the sunset. How pretty is that!!

You might be sick of seeing posts of our trip, but when you are gone for 10 days, there is lots to blog about. I think I will have one more post about our trip and then I will be done. Again we had so much fun. It already seems like it was so long ago. I hope we can go back some day.

This was my favorite day of our trip!! I could go there every year if I could afford to. It was a perfect day. Not too hot, kids were great and it was one of the slowest days in years. So we were able to ride everything and go to both parks. We didn't have to wait in line for any rides we just walked right on (fantastic). It was a really fun day it went by way to fast. I loved seeing my kids so happy. I can't wait to go back:)

Arielle was so cute with her she danced with her hugged her. She loved it. She was alittle mad at me that I wouldn't buy her a princess dress. They were $60 no thank you. She said the princesses wouldn't like her if she didn't have a dress on. They liked her just fine:) Silly Girl.

She was excited to see that they are real.We went on splash mountain first. This was a another beach we went to the name escapes my mind, we went to see the seals that have taken over the beach, they just lay on rocks and u can see them swimming out in the ocean. It was pretty fun. We didn't really know anything about the beach we didn't know that u could get in the water but there were people all over and even out swimming with the seals. (crazy) So we didn't take swimming clothes but that didn't stop addie.

I think we went to the beach at least 5 times while we were there. And not once was it warm. But we still had fun. Addie loved it the most. It was her first time to a beach since she was a baby. So she had a ball. Jade is better than me he did get in the water with the kids.I on the other hand am a whimp. It was to dang cold. The first beach we went to was called "CORONADO", i think it was my least favorite. We went to 3 different ones. My computer is being werid more pics later.

Lots to blog about part 2

Fineally a post of our trip.. We spent 10 amazing days in San Diego. We had the best time. We went with jades family. 8 of us drove in a big van and the rest flew down a few days after we were there. I was kind of dreading the drive but it went well and the kids were pretty good.The first nite we spent in vegas and then the next morn we went the rest of the way. Which was the 27 of aug Ky's 7 th b-day. It prob wasn't the best b-day but he said it was good. I tried to make it fun. So here is some pics of the 1st few days. Day 3 we went to Sea World sooo much fun. It was really cold we went there with shorts on but changed quickly into pants and sweatshirts. It was a very fun day. (pics start at the bottom) more to come.

I have so much to post but, for now here are some cute pics of the kiddlets on their first day of school. They are both loving school. And doing great ky had his first spelling test yesterday and said he did good. I am already sick of helping him with homework but thats just how it goes. Ky started 1st grade today i can't believe it. It is so crazy how fast time goes. I am not ready for him to be grown up. He was really excitied to go he woke up at 5 and was ready to go, I told him it wasn't time yet. He was most excited for eating lunch at school. I don't know why becuz he will prob take his lunch everyday becuz he is the pickiest eater. Iam so proud of him and look forward to his achievements this year. He is also going to be turning 7 on friday, seems just like yesterday we were bringing him home. Wow that went by fast. I don't think we realize how fast they grow up,but they sure do.

Tomorrow we are headed to San Diego for 10 days we are all excited. So I will have a lot to blog about when we get back.

Last week me and my friend took our kids to thanksgiving point to farm country. It was only 2$ every tuesday in aug. Which is a great deal . I wouldn't pay full price because it was kind of lame

but, the kids had a lot fun. And its always fun to do things with the kids. I hope they have a had a fun summer. It is coming to an end. I thought I would be ready for ky to go back but i'm really not. I can't believe he is going to be in 1st grade. Where does the time go. I love my kids so much. I hope they know how much I do.

ViVa Las Vegas

Last week the kids and I went to Vegas for a few days. We went with grandma deb and cousin Ty. We had a great time. It was very hot the first day we were there. I think it was at least 110 that day or hotter. We took the kids to a few family friendly places, we saw tiger's, dancing water as they call it, a valcone that they were so excited to see and ended up hating it. They swam alot at least 8 hours in one day. They were swam out by the time we left.

We had a little scary experinece. After we took the kids to the valcone and headed back to the car we were told that the parking garage was shut down by the police. And asked everyone to go back inside the hotel. We just sat in the doorway and waited until we got the ok to goto the car. An hour and a half later we were able to leave. There ended up being a man in garage with a gun. We were alittle scared and ran to the caras fasr as we could. We were alittle nervous walking back but we made it out safely.

I have been to vegas quite a few times and have always wanted my pic by the famous sign. As you can see the kids were thrilled about this.

My friend Ashlee came and hung with us for the day it was fun to see her and her kids.

It seems like I am always doing things with addie which I love but, she is gone to grandma's so it was kys turn to hang out with mom. He wanted to go the disney store and get a new Woody( doll) from toy story( his new obsession). It was funny he had it all planned. After that he wanted to go to cabela's. I was fine with that its fun cheap entertainment. We had lunch there and then walkedd around the store and stayed as long as he wanted. He fed the fish a few times and told me about all the different animals. He was so happy and I was loving spending the time with him. We had a fun day:):)

My very nice sister in-law came and helped me stain my kitchen cupboards yesterday. I was a little worried they were to dark. But after I have gotten used to it. I LOVE them, they look a million times better and i didn't have to buy new ones. We got new counter tops last spring and now the cupboard match soo much better. Now if I can just get some new tile I will be very happy. But until then I will deal with the ugly white tile.

We had a fun weekend, we went to richfield and had fu nwith out families. On sunday we spent the afternoon with my family had a BBQ and played some card games and did a few fireworks. On monday we wne to the richfield parade. And then went to jades grandma's for lunch and to watch the horse races from there front porch. It was fun we bet a quarter on the horse that would win and addie and I did pretty good. We had a fun relaxing few days. Its always fun to spend time with FAMILY!

1- Better late than never .. right :) ky finished kindergarten at the end of may. I have mixed feeling about it. I don't want my kids to get older, but who does.He did awesome this year we are very proud of him.

These pictures were at the end of the year they do field day and a dance festival. I was able to go and take a group of the kids around to the different areas, It was fun and was gald that I was able to see ky do all the fun things.

2- Addie finished her first year of preschool. I can't believe she is now 4 and in a year she will be off to kindegarten. I was an emtional wreck the last week of school. I don't know what was worng with me. But I am happy to have the kids home all day for the summer.

These pictures are from her teddy bear picnic program. She actually sang and did a good job. There were only 4 kids in her class.

3- We haven't done anyhting to excting yet this summer, but the kids have fun playing with friends, swimming and running through the sprinkler, picnic's at the park and just hanging out with mom. Who could ask for more right. Later this summer we are going to head to San Diego with jade's fam we are SUPER excited.

4- last week jade took the scouts camping and took ky. So addie and I had a girls weekend. WE went swimming at the lindon pool. Highly recommend it. She had a blast.And keeps asking when we can go back and take ky.

5- Jae is such a good dad.. I couldn't ask for a better dad for my kiddo's. This was on father's day. And yes those are his toes that he let addie paint. I never laughed so hard.I helped on the left side but i bet you can guess wich ones addie did.

Birthday Princess

Addie turned 4 on mon June 7th. It makes me alittle sad to have my baby growing up but I guess that is what they do. I can't believe 4 years has flown by so fast. I wish they would slow down just a bit. On her birthday she would hold up 4 fingers but said she was 5. I told her no only 4 we don't want you another year older. She is my little buddy she is pretty girly, she likes me to paint her nails, she knows that she has to have her hair done every single day, she love loves princesses. But she also isn't afraid to get dirty. For her birthday I decided to have a friend party. I was alittle nervous to have a bunch of 4 and 5 yr olds all by myself but it ended up being a great party. She of course wanted a princess party so we had them dress up. We had lunch,played a few games, I wanted them to make crowns but couldn't find them so we decorated visors. It turned out to be really fun!! I thought she looked super cute so I had to take a few pictures!!

Girls Night Out!!!

This past friday Addie and I went up to park city with a bunch of my girlfriends and spent the night in an amazing motel. It was so much fun and a nice little getaway. We went shopping, hot tubbing and lot of girl talk it was soo much fun. Thanks girls for all the laughs!!

We got up there earlier than all the other girls so we went to the outlets and shopped and let addie ride on this little mery- go -round.. Do you think she was happy!

After we checked in we had the shuttle van take us to tj maxx wich was kind of funny because we could have drove but it was fun. At tjmaxx we drew a name and had to buy that person a gift and then when we got back to the room. We had to guess who the girls had bought for. Everyone did an awesome job on picking out for the girl they got. This was in the foyer of the room we were in the presidental sweet. It was like a apartment. 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining area, a hot tub on the deck, one of the room had a half kitchen.

Hot tubin it!! Felt soo good Addie didn't want to get out. She loved it. I hope we get to do this again soon.

For Easter this year we went down to St.George. It was a nice little get away. We had a great time with jade's family. I was so glad we were there instead of here. Since it snowed, the weather was perfect. We all got a little sun. On sat we went over to sand hallow for a few hours and let the kids play in the sand and had lunch it was really fun and relaxing. Addie was brave and got in the water. She is crazy because it was freezing but she had a blast. Ky however wouldn't even come close to the water but had fun hunting for seashell's and playing in the sand. After we got back from there the kids wanted to swim so we did that in an outdoor pool and it was actually warm after swimming we had a yummy steak dinner. Sunday we went to jade's aunts and had an easter egg hunt and BBQ the kids had a great time and the food was awesome I just love BBQ's. There was a ton of eggs for the kids to find and they all found a TON. We had a fun relaxing weekend I wish it wouldn't have went by so fast. The car ride down they were soo excited. They are both good little travelers.

Since the weather has been so fantastic the past few days and we have pretty much been stuck inside. I thought it would be fun to color eggs for easter. The kids of course were "eggstatic" and couldn't wait. I think addie dropped and cracked more than not but. She still had fun. Ky tried to make his all different colors and tried to do some designs. We had a fun time doing them.

We were driving in the car today! And addie said "mom do you like boys", yes addie I do. Addie "well you and dad need to get married then", We already got married . Well I didn't see you guys kiss. So you aren't married yet. Oh ok'. Where do they come up these things. She is only 3. She then proceeds to tell me she isn't ever getting married cuz she dosen't want to kiss boys. But she said " Maybe her daddy will marry her".
And I told her dad can only be married to me, And then she said" well you don't need to be married to dad anymore".

Last thursday i took the kids to Disney on ice!! My sis -inlaw mac and nephew briten, out friend lottie and her 2 boys also cam along. It was AMAZING and my kids were in heaven. We had a great time.We thought that addie was going to get to meet some of the princesses. But was only able to get up close and wave wich she thought was neat. But a little disappointed she didn't get to really meet them. I ahve been a few of the disney ice shows and they really are so amazing how much they really look like the character in the movies. There was little mermiad, th lion king, tinkerbell and cars. Mickey and Minnie Donald and Goofy were the hosts. Here are a few pic!!

Last weekend me and the kids went out to roosecelt to visit my bro and his fam. It was a nice relaxing weekend. It was my b-day on friday and we went out to lunch and Maclee and I went tanning. And went to the few little craft stores they have out there. My parents and sister also came out. For a goat tying school.So we went and watched her for little bit there. Then back to jade and mac's for a yummy dinner b-day cake and ice cream. It was a pretty good b-day!! Me and the Kiddo's at lunch!!

On the March 1st Jade and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. We got to spend the afternoon together lunch and a movie ( The Blindside) you must see if u haven't seen it yet. Afternoon dates are fun. I am so greatful for jade and what a great husband and father he is. We have been through alot in our 7 yrs. but we have learned alot through the years. But one thing is for sure we love each other more and more . I am excited for the next 7 and to see what those years bring.

I am also going to be turning 28 on friday. That is crazy 30 keeps getting closer and closer. I still think i am young. And I always have people tell me I look like I am 23 or so. That makes me feel great. Anyway kind of a boring post but thats all I got.

A couple of weeks ago I took addie up for a check up to see how she is doing. They are still amazed at how well she had done. We are so greatful for the way things turned out. Lately she has been stuttering alittle, so she is going to go to speech thearpy for a while to see if that will help. They think her brain sometimes takes a min to register what she wants to say. But other than that she is great. She also loves going to preschool. And loves dance. She would go every day if she could. She is definately a girly girl. And sometimes drives me up the wall. But what child dosen't. She does have a sweet side too. Love you Add!

Ky's new favorite thing is to go down the stairs on his(slide) knees, instead of on his feet. Its no wonder all of his pant have holes in them.

no i don't let him wear them to school!! he would if I would let him.

His School is celebrating its 100 year. So they had a birthday celebration at the school. And I was able to go. It was pretty fun they had some old students and teacher come and tell them how the school was back when they went. His school is small. There is only one teacher per grade. He loves school, and last week I went to parent teacher conference and he is a great student and is reading on a higher level than he needs to be this point in the year. So we are very proud of him. Keep up the good work. Love you Ky!!

This weekend the kids were spoiled and stayed the nite with grandma and grandpa cowley in a motel and got to swim. They found a train at the mall and got to ride it. On Sat I met up with them. And we had grandma's birthday at chuckie cheese. I don't know that it was a dream birthday but the kids had a great time. Chuckie brought out a cake and sang happy b-day. And for the first time ever we got a pic of them with Chuckie. Fun Times!!

This picture was on christmas eve. Not sure they were excited. We took them to Alvin and Chimpmunks and they loved it. Addie even sat through it. That nite we let them open there christmas Pj's.

Christmas morning Ky woke up at 5:30 only because his tooth fell out. So of course he wouldn't go back to sleep we told him to lay by us for a while and at 6:00 we woke addie. They were super excited and were happy with what they got. Addie got a vanity, a jewlery box that she was most excited about, lots of princess stuff, clothes ,books. Ky got a V-pocket, games clothes, books and much more. He also got a santa and reindeer painting set that he was most excited about. he knew wich one is was under the tree and it ws the first to be opened. Its funny how the dumbest gifts can make them the most happy. We had a fun day. Christmas afternoon my parents came up and we ate tons of food,played game, watched movies and had a great time. Sat jades paretns came up and it was like christmas all over again. It was fun to have them all stay with us for a nite. I still can't believe it has come and gone. We had a great Christmas, hope you did to.

Month Gone

I can't believe Christmas is in two days. I better get got up on the festvities before the big day. I really am kinda sad the holidays are over soon. This is what we have been up to since the last time I posted. Addie had a dance recital, it was really fun to see what she has learned. She was alittle shy at first but then she really got into it . Ky had a Christmas sing at school. He was so excited for that, they also have a breakfast with Santa he was even more excited for that. Last weekend we had a few family parties to attend to. Jade's grandma always does a Holy Dinner its always really fun. I didn't get to go but jade and the kids made it they had a great time, the bug jolly guy even stopped by. After that party we had my grandma Anderson's party. It was a little different this year. Grandpa passed away about a month ago so we missed him greatly. But we still had a great party. And agian the jolly man stopped by. I am not sure how many times you need to see him in a year. Sunday we went to the fireman family lunch sloppy joe's, chips and punch always good. Santa comes but we had to leave early to head up north for another party. But santa was nice an left them a gift anyway. Our final party was granna patten. We don't get together with all my cousins on that sidevery often, so it was to catch up. We had a very fun BUSY weekend. But it was worth it. We Hope Everyone As A Safe And Merry Christmas!!

Last weekend Jade and I went to vegas with our good friends Josh and Kerri. To watch the NFR,we had a great time. It went by way to fast. But it was a nice get away.

I am not sure why jade has to be such a werido when it comes to geting pictures taken.

Christmas fun!!!

On friday was our ward party. We had a very good dinner and then a Nativity program. Ky got to be an angel. He looked more like a mummybecause he wouldn't wear a sparkely halo. oh well! After the program the big jolly guy stopped by. The kids were super excited for that. Ky told him he wanted a piano. That was new. I don't know that santa will pull that one off this year.

I enjoy this time of year so much. I love all the decroations, the music and lights. I love that we get together with all of our family. I love that my kids ask me everyday if they can open a present everyday or they ask me a million times a day if it is christmas. But the older I get the more I am so greatful for the savior. And I try really hard to get my kids to understand the real meaning of christmas.

We also spent alittle time with jades family. they rented some blow ups slides and bounce houses the kids had a great time with that.

Are good friends invited us to go get a christmas tree on sat. It was the first time we have gotten a real tree. It was so hard to pick the perfect one.But we fineally decided. After we got the trees we roasted hot dogs. It was a fun afternoon thanks Baxter's for inviting us.

Thanksgiving and Then some

This year for Thanksgiving we spent it with my family. We had a great day just hanging out relaxing, playing games and just being together. It dosen't seem like we all get together alot so I really enjoyed it. My mom made and great dinner, we all ate way to much. But I think that is what you are suppose to do. Thanks mom and dad for the great day!

Last thur my mom and I took addie to disney on ice. It was really fun . Addie was so excited to go. You wouldn't know it because she wouldn't smile in any of the pic. But she didn't move the whole nite she was in amazement of all the princesses. It is amazing to me how much they really make the character looke like they do on the movie. We had a great girls nite out. Thanks for going with us grammie!! me and add I was trying to get pic of the castle but it didn't show up to well. Addie really wanted to go inside it

Sleep Walking!!

So last nite I had just got to bed and I heard ky get up I thought he was just going to the bathroom. Well he didn't I kept hearing him walk around going up and down the stairs and and down in the kitchen so I went to see what he was doing. His eyes were clsoed and he was peeing in my kitchen garbage can. I burst out laughing what in the world are you doing I said He said just going to the br. I really think he was sleep walking. Its not the first time I have caught him doing weird things in the middel of the nite. Lol I thought it was pretty funny. But I just finished his business and walked up the stairs and went rigth back to bed.

They had alot of fun. Got plenty of candy. And mom is glad its over. lol.!!

Our giant pumpkin, that jade's mom and dad grew in there garden. It was so huge we had to carve it on the floor so my tabel didn't break.

Jade really get's into the pumpkin carving. He had to use a elctric saw to get through the huge thing. Ky couldn't wait to carve it but doesn't want to help clean out the insides.

Addie wanted to make pumpkin pie. So by the time we were done she had 3 pans an paper plates full of pumpkin guts.

It turned out pretty good.!! a haunted house and our last name up the side. Good job jade.

Addie at her preschool halloween program.!She sang one song and then decided she didn't want to particapte and sat down and watched. Silly girl. She usually isn't to shy so i still don't know why she wouldn't sing..Add and her teacher Ms. Carol

Ky at his school party.I was able to go and help with it. I am glad that i am able to support my kids,I was in charge of the craft for the kids. So I had them make a ghost out of there foot print. on Halloween I got the kids a jack o lantern pizza for dinner. YUM!!

Grandma K wanted a pic of all the girls in the family dressed in all white. And a pic of all the boys. And I had a few snapshots of my fam.Ky was trying to make a slide out of a mattress and jade had the idea to put them on the stair, it started out as only one matress but by the end of the nite there were mattresses all the way up the stairs. And even the grown ups were doing it.Even grandma K. and grandpa billy. It was very entertaining and no one got hurt thank goodness.

Last week the kids were out of school for fall break it was such nice weather that I took the kids to a couple of parks and they found different colors of leaves. We cam home and made some leaf art.

WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO

Last weekend we had a family reunion with jades family. His grandparents rented out a huge house in birds eye and we just spent the weekend hanging out .Some rode 4-wheelers, some fished, the girls had girls hour and we made some crafts, and the kids did too. We had good food and good company. Thanks grandma k and grandpa billy we had a great time.

one of the crafts ky made a cat maskadd loved putting sprinkels on the cookies and just dumping them in her mouth. The dress she is wearing grandma k got it for her for a fam pic we did while we were there. It is now her favorite dress.

Silly Sock Day

At Addie's preschool they had a silly sock day. She got a certificate for the most colorful. We had fun looking for silly socks. She has also been so excited to wear her Halloween outfit. I bought it a while ago because if i didn't get it then it would have been gone. Anyway it has been hanging in her closet and everyday she would ask to wear it. I of course wouldn't let her. SO the nite before Oct 1st i told she could wear it the next day. And all nite she kept saying "I can't wait to wear my halloween clothes,mom i get to wear my hallowenn clothes tomorrow," I know addie. She about drove me nuts maybe some day I will learn not to tell my kids about things or clothes tell the day of. first thing that morning she ran and put it on.Anyway she looked pretty cute in it. I also like making her hair bows and flowers so I have been making a bunch lately it seems like she always loses one to a pair . Its a fun little hobby!

Dance and State Fair

After a coupel of months off Addie started dance again last week. She was so excited to go and loved it. She wants to go everyday. Silly girl.

This weekend we went on our annual family trip to the state fair with jade's fam, it was really fun. On friday we of course had to go to chuckie cheese. After that we went to salt lake and stayed in a motel that had a little water park in it the kids had a blast. They swam for hours and wore themselves out. We ordered take put from Applebee's and ate at the motel then did some more swimming. Sat morn we went to the fair. Its always fun to go and see whats new. We all had a great time. Thanks for the fun weekend Russ and Deb!!
